Is there a full moon tonight?

What the fuck is going on tonight? I had to work over to the Depot and it was the strangest night ever! I was asked some of the strangest questions and here are the ones I can remember:

* Where is the aluminum for barns?
* Where are the batteries for lawn and garden lights?
* Where is the sealant for asphalt?
* Where can I find cleaner for our trash disposal?
* PHONECALL: I was just there and got home without sandpaper that I paid for...where is it?

Just so you know...I work in the paint department.

Maybe you should go work for Lowe's. Lowe's employees can never be found, and will walk right past customers who try to ask a question.

Arkie, I can't tell you how many times I am told...I just came from Lowe's and couldn't get anyone to help me! Hell, maybe I should think of transferring.

Puffy, I get that question at least 3 times a day. But, they are in the back of the store behind appliances!

I work in a hotel and get this: "How much does the hotel down the street charge?"

Like I give a rat's ass what they charge.... I'm not working for THEM!!!

I hate it when someone sees you wearing your company t-shirt and standing at a register, and they ask "do you work here." I want to say no, I just want to pretend that I work here.

Well I never wear a shirt for the stores I shop in, yet I am *always* asked for help. Wonder why that is.

Oh, cool! I need some paint. DD wants a pink bedroom and DS wants his room painted blue. Unfortunately for both of them, the first thing getting painted is the stairwell.

Do you have those rollers with the patterns on them so I don't have to spend hours with rags for a faux finish?

MM, if you are shopping shirtless, it's no wonder they're asking you for help! *grin*

How do you get away with it? I thought the sign on the door said, "No shirt, No shoes, No service" :)

Nutz: she's probably wearing her bra.

You didn't think prudey MM would just go in with her oobies hanging out, did you?

I bet it's a snazzy red satin one, too.

Seana,

I would suggest looking at the Disney colors for the kids rooms or Ralph Lauren. Disney and Ralph have some of the deepest and brightest colors that we carry.

We do carry rollers and special type sponges for the faux finish. The one I like the most is the Belaggio (I think that is how it is spelled). I can explain it if you wanna hear.

BTW MM, our managers would be ALL over you if you were not wearing a top/shirt. I bet you would get tons of looks too.
