On to other things...I haven't posted over at the other place (OT) in a while and to be honest, I haven't missed it much. I noticed someone started a "librul" thread and HAD to get his kick in to start the thing off. I didn't read it nor did I even listen to what he wanted us to. What does this say about me?
I think I am going to try and watch something OnDemand. They usually have a couple good documentaries to pick from and that is the mood I am in. The scary part is that I don't even think I want to drink tonight (as I thought I would be in mood earlier in the day).
URGH! Having an 8-5 BLOWS! HEHEHEHEHEHE!

I have been very careful the last couple of days of what I open over there. Need to stay shallow for awhile.

Out of curiosity, I searched for my most recent posts. The last one is dated 2/19, so I haven't posted there in about two weeks.
I'm very proud of myself. I was lurking there quite often until the monster abortion thread set me off. Now I only peek in there once or twice a day and there is honestly nothing that interests me right now.
I may go back there one day, but something had to give because I do not have the time, energy or desire to be pissed off while I am online. This is supposed to be my escape and I like it to be fun and occasionally to vent.

Carey, I haven't even wanted to get in the shallow end lately. When I see certain peeps post in those thresds I just want to hurl. I know I shouldn't let it get to me but it does.
Nutz...I posted on the abortion thresd and I think I posted on the Ginger/George Michael thresd but other than that I have stayed out of there. I will just keep making my rounds on the TV forums!

Honestly, I'm less amazed by some of the peeps that casuallly splash away in the shallow end than I am by the reception they receive from some other peeps. I know peeps who in private have said "I cannot stand XYZ peep" then they turn around and say stuff to XYZ peep in shallow end threads like "I'm so glad we're friends despite our differences" and "great big *smooch* to you." C'mon! I'm not advocating being rude to anybody, but can we at least drop the phony nice-nice kissy-face and just ignore so as not to encourage and/or give false impressions?!
