I got the job!
I found out late Friday that I got the job! I start the new position next Wednesday and will enter a 2-week training session. I guess my time around RTVW and here will be limited at best for at least those two weeks. I will have to update and post on RTVW after hours…that isn’t a bad thing I guess but will take time away from my norm.
I posted a message over that the other place but also wanted to share it here because I feel this is more personal than the open forum there. Just wanted to keep you guys updated!

It HAD to be the yellow tie!
I will be working for "The Surgical Equipment People" selling...surgical equipment. They have been in business for 7 years and growing like weeds. I really like the people as they were very down to earth and the office is somewhat small but very homey.
I am looking forward to it!

I don't think it will be a strict company to work for because they seem to be fairly laid back on the front meetings. I will have to play it by ear.
Travel could come into play and they say on average there will be at least one trip per quarter. They actually will leave it up to me whether to travel or not.
I will know more after the first couple of days of training. I will keep you guys updated.

Boo, the company I used to work for has surgical sponges with X-ray detectable things sewn in them so if they are left in the body they are easily spotted.
