Thank goodness yesterday is over!

Yesterday was not a good day! I wasn’t in much of a good mood anyways but things started going downhill fairly early. One of my best friends called to say that his wife had miscarried their expecting baby. She was 9 weeks along and they were so looking forward to having a baby…right now they are just coping with the loss the best they can.

My mom called mid-afternoon to inform me that nurses were removing the IV that my uncle has had for over the last month or so. I don’t know if you guys remember but I have an uncle that has been in and out of the hospital many times over the last 6 months and they (the doctors) don’t think he will get much better. He is 84 and lived a long life and I just hope his last days here are not in suffering.

Let’s hope today is much better for all involved and I also want to WELCOME Alec to the world of blogging! As you can see his site has been added to my links section and I am sure he will bring some more cutie pics in the future. WELCOME ALEC!

ETA: Well, it didn't get any better! My uncle passed away this morning.
