Brokeback Mountain

The movie starts in my city on Friday and some friends and I will be going for the first or second showing.

I can’t wait to see it and will give a review after I have seen it. A friend of mine from Atlanta saw it last night and said that it was very touching. He wouldn’t give me any hints as to anything that happens but he said we HAD to talk after I see it.

I will finally be able to see what all the hype is about.

Are you gonna see it?

I'm not only going to see it, but I'll likely see it all by myself. I'm very excited about going to a movie alone. DH would have gone if I asked him to, but I don't think it's his type of movie, since emotions are involved, and all that. ;-)

I almost always go to the movies by myself and it is by my choice. I mean, once the movie starts you can't really talk.

I wrote a treatment for "Brokeback Mountain II: The Summer of Love" if you want to check it out on my blog.

I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD because I hate crying in public.

The commercials showing on one of the stations on tv here in Atlanta for the movie are like you were saying Vols. If you didn't know what the movie was about, you'd think it was a love story between a man and woman.

I have it on my Netflix list so when it comes out on DVD, they'll send it.

*snicker* I'm gonna take my Dad.

Vols, not sure if you read my blog about Christmas at my parents or not. In a nutshell, my Dad, who could be more open-minded but is improving, was all excited about this new western that was coming to the theatre. The look on his face when I told him it was about gay cowboys was freakin' priceless.

Nookie, Dad said the exact same thing about the commercial. Then he said that it had a scene that was kind of fuzzy and it looked like the cowboys were fighting. I told him that I didn't think that "fighting" was the word for what they were doing. *giggle*

I won't likely go to the theatre to see it seeing as I only go to one theatre movie per year and that's usually in December. But, I will definitely rent it when it hits the depanneur!
