A tiny update

I took half a day off from work today for my second interview with Covenant Health and things went very well. I have made it to the final two for the position I mentioned in my last post. Wish me luck everyone!

Also, I am not looking forward to Big Bother as much as I have in other years. For some reason seeing these peeps all over again just makes me want to rinse and repeat. What have I got to look forward to? Help here…

I am going to watch the recarp of Americas Got Talent and I am hoping it makes more sense tonight than it did the other night. I have no idea how they are going to judge singers with jugglers but I am willing to see how it plays out…for now.

I hope all is going well for everyone!

Rant and excitement

Well, summer has hit hard! DAYUM…it got really hot really fast. We are having the typical summer time heat and humidity that the south is known for. I wish I knew of a way of staying cool without sitting in the house all day. Honestly, I can be drench in sweat in about 2-3 minutes of being outside. NOT FUN!

Just so everyone knows…my job sucks ass BIG TIME. I like the people but the job itself just isn’t what I thought it would be. I applied to about 10 places today (for part-time work) and am looking for another full time job as well. I have a friend that works for Covenant Health and there is a job open that he thinks he can help me get but it is for about $15,000 less than what I am used to making!

I am really excited about Treasure Hunters starting tomorrow night. WOO and HOO! It looks like an educated TAR and I am looking forward to playing along with the show…see if I can figure out the clues. Are you guys watching?

Big Bother airs it’s little “preseason” show on Wednesday where we can vote on picking someone/few that will be in the house for All Stars. Where is Roddy and Hardy? I hope my man candy will be there. Who are you guys wanting to be on the show? If Magassholepie shows up my TV will be turned off until she gets booted. I will not listen to her mouth at all this season…just watch and see!

Happy Father’s Day everyone!

My weekend

I hope everyone had a great weekend…I know I did!

Friday night was all planned out with a couple of friends coming over to drink, sit around and have fun. Well, we ended up watching a documentary on HBO titled “Baghdad ER” and we all really enjoyed it. Two filmmakers got a back stage pass to the hospital ER that is located in the green zone in Baghdad. It was an uncensored look at life for the military peeps in Iraq and the injuries they see from all the bombings. It was kinda gory at times but really brought things home for me.

Saturday was another planned outing to one of my bestest friends. My bestest friends’ wife has gone to Florida to visit family and he stayed behind. He invited me over to his house to watch a rasslin show that came on Wednesday night but he tivo’ed. My friend wanted to cook out on the grill and we had steak, shrimp potatoes and broccoli…all grilled and yummy beyond belief! I think I am still full. Some of you may be wondering about the rasslin thing…half nekkid men rubbin all over each other. Need I say more?

Sunday was actually a nice day as I got up from bed and moved everything to the sofa where I watched the men’s final of the French Open. The match was a great one and the two men were very hott to say the least. After that? I went to my parents for a visit and took Kahlua up to their farm so she could run free for a while and get exercise.

What did you do this week?

Another week behind us

Hey guys! I can’t believe another week has come and gone. WHEW! Where does the time go?

There was something happened to me over the past week that is one of the most spiritual things that I have ever experienced. I really don’t feel like explaining it just yet but I am sure I will get around to it sometime soon.

The weather over the weekend was great at times and really poor at times. The temps were in the lower 80s and sunny one minute and the next…rainy and in the 70s. Like today, my family and I went out to eat lunch and then shopping. Mom wanted to look for some stepping-stones and we were outside looking at some as one of the darkest clouds ever plops over the sun and it starts pouring! We were almost soaked but made it to the van before too much happened.

Work is going. BLAH BLAH BLAH! Actually, it is very slow at the moment and I am working hard to get things going in the right direction. A co-worker spent some time with me on Thursday of last week and gave me some pointers that I will be implementing tomorrow when I have to go back to that place.

I have posted sporadically over to the other place and feel like I might get back into posting some…not back to the way I was posting though. I PM’ed PRE over the weekend and we discussed the diversity training thresd. It sort of got me back into the swing of things.

Hell’s Kitchen starts next week and I.CAN’T.WAIT! I really enjoyed the first season and am looking forward to this one. I am sure there be many bleebs and wirty dords throughout. WOO and freakin HOO!
